CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Head coach Brad Underwood reached a milestone in his career as Illinois cruised to a 117-79 victory, marking his 152nd win and moving him into sole possession of fourth place on the Fighting Illini all-time coaching wins list.

The Fighting Illini scored 117 points — their highest total since Nov. 25, 2020, when they tallied 122 against North Carolina A&T. Illinois shot an impressive 62.1% from the field, setting season highs in both field goals made and assists (26).

Kylan Boswell had his first career triple-double, contributing 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Boswell’s performance marked the seventh triple-double in program history, with five of them coming under Underwood’s leadership. Boswell also set career highs for rebounds and assists while extending his streak of games with seven or more rebounds to three.

Tomislav Ivisic had a career-high 23 points, leading the team in scoring. Ivisic also set a personal best with five assists and tied his career-high with nine field goals made. He recorded his third 20+ point game of the season and his fifth game making multiple three-pointers. Kasparas Jakucionis continued his solid play with 14 points, four rebounds, and four assists, reaching double figures for the seventh consecutive game. Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn added 16 points, setting a season high in assists with two and tying his career high in steals with two.

Will Riley also made an impact, scoring 13 points and grabbing four rebounds, marking his eighth double-figure performance of the season. Meanwhile, Morez Johnson Jr. contributed 11 points, eight rebounds, and a game-high three blocks, surpassing his previous career-high of 10 points.

Jake Davis and Keaton Kutcher both had notable moments as well, with Davis setting a season-high of six points, including two 3-pointers, and Kutcher hitting the first 3-pointer of his career, a highlight assist from Boswell during the triple-double sequence.

Illinois next travels to Oregon on Thursday for a Big Ten match-up.
