CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Champaign Police Department has confirmed on its Facebook page that Damien Andrews has been located and is confirmed to be safe. He is no longer considered missing at this time.
ORIGINAL STORY POSTED July 15, 2024, at 4:15 p.m. The Champaign Police Department (CPD) says it is looking for a missing teenaged boy. CPD posted on its Facebook page that it is seeking information leading to the whereabouts of 15-year-old Damien Andrews of Champaign.
What we know:
Andrews is a white male, approximately 5′ 07″ and 175 lbs. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He may be wearing corrective lenses. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, and red and white shoes.
CPD says in its post that Andrews has not been seen by or in contact with friends or family since Saturday, July 13, 2024. He was last seen near the intersection of Church St. and Prospect Ave. CPD also mentions that Andrews may be traveling with two other juveniles and that he is considered missing and endangered due to a medical condition.
