Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering Host STEM Fair at UIUC

Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering (WECE) will be hosting the Women in Engineering Fair: Per Aspera Ad Astra (Through Adversity, to the Stars) as part of the Saturday Engineering for Everyone series at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The event will take place at 306 N Wright St. in Urbana, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fair aims to highlight the achievements of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) on campus. Each participating Registered Student Organization (RSO) will showcase their group at a table, offering valuable information and a kid-friendly activity related to their specific engineering discipline.

Join another magical evening of music by candlelight in The Dollhouse. NEO SOUL is a monthly series you do not want to miss. Doors open at 7:30; show begins at 8 p.m. $10 in advance or at the door.

UFLive! Presents Afternoon Serenade at The Urbana Free Library

Join in for an afternoon of beautiful music at the Afternoon Serenade, presented by UFLive! on Sunday, March 30th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. The event will be held in the Busey-Mills Reading Room at The Urbana Free Library.

Enjoy a live performance by a talented local quartet, featuring noted regional musicians Amanda Pond (Flute), Eun Namkung (Violin), Elaine Fine (Viola), and Barbara Hedlund (Cello). The program will feature a serenade of light classical pieces and timeless romantic songs from Hollywood, Broadway, and Opera.
