CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – We’re off to a great start with low rain chances on Monday. While the week remains fairly dry, we will see an increase in showers and storms Wednesday afternoon followed by temps hovering in the low-80s.

Here’s what to expect each day from the National Weather Service:

MONDAY: A 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Light north wind.

MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 64. Calm wind.

TUESDAY: Sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Light south-southwest wind.

WEDNESDAY: A 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 60.

FRIDAY: Sunny, with a high near 83.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
