Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker signed an executive order Wednesday preventing state agencies from collecting or sharing data about autism with the federal government, unless it is legally or medically required.
Grantees were awarded $1,000 each to support their work dedicated to the LGBTQ+ or BIPOC communities, food and housing insecurity, healthcare, and education challenges, or environmental activism. Grantees will showcase their work at the McKinley Foundation annual fundraiser on June 7, 2025.
