 Local law enforcement agencies are teaming up with the Eastern Illinois Foodbank (EIF) to battle hunger in the community. This year’s “Protect & Feed” campaign, a friendly competition among six local departments, aims to raise meals for families in need during the holiday season.

The City of Champaign is offering free two-hour parking downtown

There is no requirement to provide any proof of purchase at the parking deck to receive the two-hour discount. Parking at the parking deck is also free on City holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The parking deck is located at the corner of Hill and Randolph Streets and has more than 300 visitor parking spaces.
