Earlier this week, the Parkland College Board of Trustees approved a submission request for state funding for a new campus facility, as well as approval for some key purchases for the fiscal year of 2026 and some other agenda items.

She earned a doctorate in higher education finance, a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in journalism, from Indiana University. The new title brings the UIUC campus in line with similar positions at the two other campuses at the University of Illinois System. The duties and reporting lines of the position, however, still remain the same.
