A two-month-old baby has passed away following a multi-vehicle crash in Urbana on Thursday night. The crash occurred at the intersection of Philo Road and Colorado Avenue, involving four vehicles, including a Chrysler Pacifica with a mother and her three children as passengers.
On March 11, UPD officers responded to reports of an armed subject at the 1100 block of East Florida Avenue. The officers found the suspect who began fleeing on foot. The suspect, identified as a juvenile, was quickly apprehended. The officers recovered a stolen handgun which was believed to be discarded during the pursuit.
