The DPD responded to the call on Saturday, September 14 around midnight and found a 31-year-old male and a 28-year-old female with gunshot wounds in the yard.

As the officers investigated further, they found cause to arrest 34-year-old Morgan Nelson, the victim’s mother on charges of Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Endangering the Life and Health of a Child.
