An investigation by the Champaign County authorities led to an impaired driver receiving citations for Improper Lane Usage and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (DUI).
A Danville teenager is under arrest after police said he led officers on a high-speed chase in a car that had been identified from a shots-fired incident.
Witnesses in the area have reported hearing several gunshots before seeing a dark vehicle swiftly sped away from the scene of the crime. The man was then transported to the hospital where he is currently listed as in serious condition.
