4-H youth put their hard work on display at the Champaign County Fair 4-H Project Show on July 21 and 22. In 4-H, projects are a way for members to learn about what interests them.
Hard work and dedication paid off as 4-H members showcased their animals at this year’s Champaign County 4-H Livestock and Animal Shows.
The teenager was soon interviewed with their parent and it was decided afterwards that the teenager would be arrested and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center for the initial charge of Aggravated Disorderly Conduct.
The Board of Education of the Champaign Unit 4 School District will hold a special board meeting.
Nominees are evaluated by a Selection Committee based on established criteria that assess the character and leadership qualities of the nominated young woman.
As Champaign and Urbana schools return this week, it is important for the community to observe traffic signs and speed limits in school zones.
Unit 4 will limit the use of cell phones and other personal devices during classes.
The fair will feature fun activities such as games, music and prizes for attendees. Additionally, there will be school supplies, school enrollment assistance, back-to-school physicals and wellness exams all completely free.
Champaign families are filling empty shoeboxes with school supplies like pencils, crayons and notebooks, alongside personal care items and toys.
