
The City of Urbana is inviting residents to a Public Hearing at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, to review and comment on the revised draft of the Imagine Urbana Comprehensive Plan.

The hearing is set to explore the changing landscape of college athletics as NIL agreements continue to reshape the college sports world.
“An estimated two million adults in the U.S. meet the criteria for severe problem gambling,” said Dave Wohl, Executive Director of ICPG. “This month is a crucial time for stakeholders across the gaming industry to unite and reinforce the message that help is available. Through education, outreach, and support, we strive to empower individuals to make informed choices about their gambling behaviors and seek assistance when needed.”
The event estimates to generate over $300,000 for the area. On the evening of Friday, March 7, all 19 teams will stop by The Fringe, located at 849 Stone Ridge Dr., Rantoul. for an informal meet-and-greet. To learn more about the sport of Quadball, visit usquadball.org.
