Prairie Street Road closed for sewer repair

To complete a sewer repair, A&R Mechanical Services Inc. will be closing Prairie Street between White Street and Springfield Avenue. Access will be maintained to all properties, but the road will be closed to through traffic. Work begins at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, and will be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7, weather permitting.

Cunningham’s Children’s Home celebrates its Festival of Quilts

The quilt recognizes marlin’s 23 years of service in the United States Army National Guard and his deployment in the Iraq War, for which he was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal in 2007. Marlin has served the community for the past 35 years in child welfare, leading Cunningham since 2008. The festival also celebrates their youth and hard work.
