Urbana police reveal new details in tragic home invasion that left two dead, including seven-year-old

A report from the Urbana Police Department has provided further insight into a tragic home invasion over the weekend that left two people dead, including 7-year-old Darnell “DJ” Wicks. One of the key revelations from the report is that 43-year-old Melvin Braxton fatally shot Wicks during a domestic incident on Saturday night in the 900 block of Lanore Drive.
