Paxton police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred Friday evening at Paxton Variety Liquors. At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 27, two men entered the liquor store, brandished firearms, and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
A man was stabbed in an incident on Saturday morning near the 800 block of Crescent Drive. The Champaign Police Department responded to a report of an armed suspect at approximately 11:28 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the male victim, who had suffered a stab wound.
