Parkland College’s Board of Trustees adopted next year’s budget and made purchases to enhance public safety across campus at its monthly meeting Wednesday.
The Champaign Fire Department responded to a fire in a residence in the 1600 block of Normandy Dr., Wednesday at 1:08 p.m. Fire crews were able to quickly get the fire under control.
Construction continues at the I-72/57 interchange in Champaign. The current project is in preparation for next year’s reconstruction of the I-72 bridges over I-57.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, daughter Theresa and a grandson, Eric Heffernan. She is survived by 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
