CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The City of Champaign is hosting the 2025 Champaign Neighborhood Network Conference on Friday, May 9.

The conference will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the I Hotel and Conference Center. The conference provides resources, tools, and information to increase the capacity of neighborhood residents, volunteers, and grassroots organizers to positively impact their neighborhoods using community engagement. It includes 18 shops from several departments, institutions, and community partners related to maintaining a vibrant and engaged neighborhood.

Conference attendees also have an opportunity to hear from Mayor Deborah Feinen at the opening breakfast for the conference. Newly appointed City Manager Joan Walls will also provide a keynote address during the lucnh.
