DANVILLE, IL (Chambana Today) — Downtown Danville is set to celebrate summer in style with the Artisan Summer Luau on June 5, part of the city’s First Fridays series. Hosted at Temple Plaza from 5–8 p.m., the event promises a tropical evening filled with food, music, and entertainment for the whole family.
Attendees can enjoy live steel drum music by Circle City Steel, browse vendor booths, and shop at local businesses while sipping tropical mocktails crafted by Kenny Heckler of Vermilion River Beer Company. Dinner tickets are available for $25 and include a curated menu featuring fluffy coconut jasmine rice, a tropical fruit salad served in a carved fruit bowl, fresh pineapple salsa, Kalua pork sliders, and grilled pineapple chicken skewers.
Additionally, visitors can attend a $5 screening of JAWS at the nearby Fischer Theatre. No tickets are required for the live music and plaza activities.
