Danville man arrested for illegal cannabis and a firearm

DANVILLE, IL (Chambana Today) – An individual was stopped for a registration violation and was arrested for illegal cannabis and a firearm.

The stop happened on Wednesday, January 15 at around 5:15 p.m. around the area of North Bowman Avenue and Madison Street. The driver, 24-year-old Levi Applegate of Danville, was investigated further due to circumstances and the officer seized an illegal amount of cannibis around 10 to 30 grams. He was also discovered with a firearm.
