DANVILLE, IL (Chambana Today) – The Danville Police Department (DPD) has made an arrest of a suspect in the armed robbery of the Dairy Queen in September.
The individual, 25-year-old Jose Quintana of Cicero, Illinois, was taken into custody on Wednesday, October 3 by members of the Danville Police Department Community Housing Unit. The robbery took place on September 21 and the individual who entered was a male with a firearm who took an undisclosed amount of cash from the Dairy Queen. He was described as white or Hispanic with a blue zip-up jacket with a hood over his head, ripped blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.
He also was described to have multiple face tattoos and had a small to medium build. Quintana faces charges of Armed Robbery and Obstructing and Resisting a Peace Officer. He is also being held on a warrant out of Cook County. The DPD would like to remind the public that all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
