CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is hosting a career fair in Champaign.
The fair takes place on June 4 and will be held from 2:00 p.m. at the Atkins Building located at 1800 S. Oak Street. Staff will be on site to discuss technical and administrative support opportunities for multiple IDOT job locations throughout the area. Attendees will learn about how to apply for state jobs. Central Management Services will be on-site to explain the application process and the best practices.
The Illinois Secretary of State’s office will have staff to answer questions about obtaining a commercial driver’s license for positions that require one. The Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs also will be available to provide guidance on programs and services for qualified veterans. While a limited amount of laptops will be requires, attendees are required to bring their own.
