CHICAGO, IL (Chambana Today) – An Illinois iLottery player recently won over $2 million right before New Year’s Eve on the Illinois Lottery app.

Right before the New Year’s ball dropped, the iLottery player earned $2,661,339 playing the Fast Play Ultimate Diamond Jackpot, which is a progressive jackpot game. It starts at $75,000 and increases with each ticket sold until the jackpot is claimed. This is the fourth player to win the Fast Play jackpot over half a million dollars in 2024. The First one won $5.75 million in November and the second took over $1.1 million.
