CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – An individual was arrested this weekend at a University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana (UIUC) library for the harassment of female students.
On Friday, September 6, a disorderly individual was seen in the afternoon harassing and making advancements towards a group of female students at the Grainger Engineering Library. The individual was repeatedly making romantic advancements on the women and was eventually asked to stop. Upon this rejection, however, he began to throw paper at the female students and was eventually asked by library staff to leave the premises. He refused to leave the library and eventually library staff had to contact University of Illinois Police Department (UIPD) to remove the man.
