National Faith & Blue Weekend announced in early October at Parkland

There will be a variety of things to do, such as live entertainment, food trucks, face painting, a car show, and free giveaways.

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – National Faith & Blue Weekend (NFBW) is starting up at Parkland College in early October and will feature food, events, and lots of family fun!

NFBW will take place on Saturday, October 5 from 1:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. with fun for the whole family. There will be a variety of things to do, such as live entertainment, food trucks, face painting, a car show, and free giveaways. The event will take place at Parkland College in the Student Union Building and in the B1 parking lot at 2400 W. Bradley Ave. in Champaign. Despite the name, you do not have to be religious to attend.

This event intends to create safer and stronger communities by connecting law enforcement with the community and residents that they protect and serve. If your organization is interested in participating in this community event, please email police@illinois.edu, to register by September 22nd.
