URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – Urbana Police Department officers recovered an illegal firearm and arrested a domestic battery suspect.

Urbana officers responded to a report of domestic battery on Sunday, March 2. The victim was discovered with several visible injuries. Upon investigation, the victim provided a video of the 18-year-old suspect brandishing a modded rifle. Further investigation led officers to recover the illegally modified firearm. The suspect was then located, interviewed, and taken into custody on multiple charges.

  • Unlawful Restraint
  • Interfering with Reporting a Domestic Battery
  • Unlawful Use of a Weapon
  • Possession of a Stolen Firearm
