URBANA, IL (Chambana Today) – Longtime Urbana teacher Jeanette Delgado was recently promoted to Assistant Principal at the Urbana Sixth Grade Center.
Delgado has been a teacher leader at the Urbana School District #116 for the past 12 years, mostly in the Dual Language Program. She’s served as an Instructional Coach and is currently the Curriculum Implementation Teacher at Yankee Ridge Multilingual School. She has also served as a Fellow and Senior Fellow with Teach Plus, where she has published multiple research articles and presented at various conferences.
She also serves on the Educator Advisory Council for Advance Illinois. Delgado holds a Bilingual Bicultural Education and Spanish Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s of Education in Educational Administration.
