Wienermobile returns to Champaign and around Central Illinois

The giant hot dog has made its way around Central Illinois before and is back for round two from Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 13.

CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The iconic Oscar-Mayer Wienermobile is making its way back to Champaign as well as other Illinois towns.

The Wienermobile is a 27-foot Oscar-Mayer branded vehicle in the shape of a giant hot dog used to promote and advertise Oscar-Mayer products around the United States. The giant hot dog has made its way around Central Illinois before and is back for round two from Thursday, October 10 to Sunday, October 13. Their drivers, Sarahkraut and Sizzlin’ Stephen, will be available doing events and for interviews around this time as well.

The Wienermobile itinerary is as follows:

Niemanns Grand Opening, Thursday, October 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Danville County Market, Friday, October 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
County Market Tilton, Friday, October 11 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Charleston County Market, Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Niemanns, Saturday, October 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Maranatha Christian Academy Fall Festival, Sunday, October 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
