CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – We’re halfway through July and it seems like we’re finally getting past all the storms and rain. Expect sunny and clear skies throughout the week. The National Weather Service (NWS) predicts temperatures to rise up to the low 80s in the afternoon and down to the mid 50s during the night.
If you’re looking for something to do during this nice and sunny week, on Thursday, August 22, Champaign Park District will be hosting Jazz in the Park from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Bring your lawn chairs, refreshments, and enjoy some live music at Clark Park with a friend or two. Are you more into creating art? Join the Third Tuesday Stitching Circle hosted at the The Urbana Free Library on Tuesday, August 20, at 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Have some company while you craft whether it’s knitting, crocheting, or embroidering. You must bring your own supplies.
Make sure you wear your sunscreen and stay safe!
