Wednesday is a 9-month-old female Domestic Shorthair cat weighing at 8.62 lbs. She is a sweet little girl who is full of love waiting for you at the Champaign County Humane Society (CCHS). Wednesday was unfortunately relinquished because her former caretaker could no longer care for her. She can be a bit shy, but Wednesday will solicit attention and plenty of pets. The Illinois women’s basketball team wrapped up their regular season with a frustrating 89-71 loss to No. 16 Michigan on Sunday afternoon at the State Farm Center. The Wolverines erased a three-point deficit heading into the final quarter with a dominant 30-18 performance, securing the victory in the Big Ten finale.
Illinois dominated in the second half to defeat No. 15 Michigan, 93-73, on Sunday at Crisler Center, extending their winning streak over the Wolverines to nine games. The Illini had four players score in double figures, marking their fourth victory over a ranked opponent this season.
