Urbana’s U-Cycle program begins new contract with GFL Environmental

Parkland College offers tuition and fee discounts participating in Early Transfer Academy

The total cost of the tuition and fees will be determined by the credit hours offered students in ETA. Parkland College will forgive two credits for every 12 hours offered to a district’s ETA students. On top of this, the board also approved Danielle Wilberg as Parkland’s new associate vice president for development/executive director of the Parkland College Foundation. She begins on April 1, replacing Tracy Wahlfeldt, who retires on April 20.

Shooting investigation in Champaign – no injuries reported

Champaign Police responded to a report of shots fired on the 2800 block of W. Kirby Avenue at 7:14 p.m. on March 26. Officers arrived on the scene but found no immediate injuries. However, evidence of gunfire was quickly located at the intersection of Stratford Drive and Trafalgar Square.
