CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, April 22, from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m., to celebrate the exciting expansion of The Hive Honey Beetique in Mahomet’s growing Patton District. The official Grand Re-Opening will take place on Saturday, May 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Owned and operated by a team of passionate local beekeepers, The Hive Honey Beetique is much more than a honey shop. With a mission to support and uplift fellow beekeepers, the business offers raw local honey, bath and body products, home décor, artisan apparel, and now—thanks to the expansion—a whole new lineup of bee-inspired culinary creations.
The latest addition to the shop includes a commercial production kitchen, where the team will begin crafting honey fusions, handcrafted tea blends, honey candies, honey butter, and their buzz-worthy honey-themed “charcuterie” boards and cups.
Visitors to the enhanced honey tasting room will also get the chance to sample from more than 20 different honey varieties. Samples will be available every Saturday, providing a sweet weekend destination for families, foodies, and bee enthusiasts alike.
Located at 1828 Patton Dr., Ste. 2, Mahomet, The Hive Honey Beetique continues to grow as a destination for quality goods, local connection, and sweet inspiration. For more information, visit www.thehivemahomet.com or follow @thehivehoneybeetique on Instagram and Facebook.
