CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – With immigration issues remaining a national flashpoint, the Immigration Services of Champaign-Urbana (ISCU) is inviting the public to its Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 10 to reaffirm community solidarity and support for immigrant neighbors.

The meeting will take place at The University YMCA, located at 1001 S. Wright Street in Champaign, beginning at 6:30 p.m., with a silent auction preview at 6:00 p.m.

The evening will feature a presentation and Q&A, an Executive Director’s report, and a formal business meeting. Attendees will take part in electing new board members, reviewing organizational bylaws, and discussing the FY 25–26 budget.

The silent auction will raise funds for ISCU’s programs, offering a variety of items that reflect the organization’s mission and community partnerships.

Organizers say the meeting is open to everyone, whether longtime supporters or newcomers curious about ISCU’s work. The event offers a chance to learn more, ask questions, and help shape the future of immigrant support efforts in the Champaign-Urbana area.
