CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – It was a busy week at the Champaign County Jail, which saw around 100 updates to its booking report throughout the week.
Here’s an overview of the booking report activity from the last week:
Friday, July 18: 18 bookings
Saturday, July 19: 14 bookings
Sunday, July 20: 18 bookings
Monday, July 21: 22 bookings
Tuesday, July 22: 7 bookings (2 out of facility)
Wednesday, July 23: 16 bookings (4 out of facility)
Thursday, July 24: 21 bookings (2 out of facility)
A trend can be noticed of there being more arrests made in relation to impaired driving on the weekend, with five arrests on Friday falling under that category. Seven related arrests were made on Saturday, along with six on Sunday. This past Thursday, an additional three were made.
