Friday night kicks off with Gospel Night from 5 to 8 p.m., followed by a full Saturday (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) that features local music acts, a senior luncheon and bingo, and the much-anticipated style show. Sunday wraps up with more live entertainment and children’s activities from 1 to 6 p.m.
This year’s CU Days will feature a new mural on the Douglas Park basketball court and reintroduce T-shirts for purchase. Shuttle service will run every 30 minutes on Saturday from the Douglass Community Center to the park.
“We’re bringing back the spirit and history of CU Days,” said Tachel Brown, marketing Manager for the Champaign Park District. “This is about honoring tradition while creating new memories.”
