CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — For the second year in a row, Illinois Men’s Basketball has officially sold out of public season tickets for the upcoming 2025–26 season, reflecting the sustained momentum and excitement surrounding the program under head coach Brad Underwood.

The sellout follows the sale of student season tickets, which were snapped up in just 18 minutes—a record-breaking pace—and marks the fourth straight year that the student section has reached capacity.

Fans still hoping to see the Illini in action at State Farm Center will have opportunities through mini-plans and single-game tickets, both of which will be available to I FUND members before opening to the general public. Mini plans go on sale to I FUND members starting Sept. 30, with public sales beginning Oct. 2. Single-game tickets follow, with I FUND presale beginning Oct. 20 and the general public gaining access Oct. 24.

The Illini enter the 2025–26 season with high expectations, returning three starters from a team that notched 22 wins, reached the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament, and finished 17th in KenPom rankings.

Illinois has become one of the most consistent programs in the nation, boasting:

  • The most Big Ten wins over the past six seasons
  • Three conference titles in the last five years
  • Six straight 20-win regular seasons
  • Five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances
  • The only Big Ten team with a winning league record each of the last six years

Fans interested in early ticket access and premium seating opportunities are encouraged to join the I FUND, which supports student-athletes and provides priority benefits.
