CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Starting 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, portions of streets in Urbana will be closed for the Run to Remember 5K and 5-mile race. North Broadway Avenue, West Park Street, West Church Street, North Orchard Street, North Coler Avenue, and West Country Club Road will be closed.
Roads and intersections will be reopened as the last participants go through an area. It is estimated streets will be reopened around 9:15 a.m. Additional event information is available at: https://illinoismarathon.com/races/run-to-remember/.
Delays are to be expected in the areas. Volunteers will be in the area to assist in maintaining access to properties on the course route.
