CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — Single-game tickets to catch the Illinois men’s basketball team are now on sale to the general public.

Illinois has sold out of public season ticket inventory for the second straight year, while student season tickets are sold out for the fifth season in a row, this time in a record 18 minutes. This year’s squad has high expectations, as it enters the 2025-26 season ranked 17th in the nation in the AP Poll.

The team returns three starters from last year’s 22-win campaign, with Kylan Boswell, Tomislav Ivisic, and forward Ben Humrichous returning. Jake Davis also returns, while talented transfers Zvonimir Ivisic (Arkansas) and Andrej Stojakovic (Cal) join as part of a talented group of newcomers.

Afer bringing in a pair of European players last year, Illinois continued with its successful recruiting from across the pond, bringing in Mihailo Petrovic from Serbia and David Mirkovic from Montenegro.

Illinois is the winningest team in Big Ten play over the last six years of the Brad Underwood era and has won Big Ten championships in three of the last five seasons.

During this stretch the Illini are one of only four teams nationally with six-straight 20-win regular seasons, one of 13 teams in the country to make five-straight NCAA Tournament appearances, and the only Big Ten team to post a winning league record in each of the last six years.
