CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (Chambana Today) — The Unit 4 School District is inviting community members to participate in a series of Community Forums as part of the search for a new superintendent. Led by JG Consulting, the forums will provide an opportunity for local residents to voice their opinions and contribute to the selection process.

The forums will be held across various locations in Champaign, with both small and large group sessions to accommodate a wide range of participants. The first session, a Small Community Forum, will take place on Wednesday, November 12 at 1 p.m. at the Champaign Public Library. Later that evening, the Large Community Forum will be held at Centennial High School at 6 p.m.. This session will also be available via livestream on the District’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.

Additional forums are scheduled throughout the week, including sessions at Garden Hills Academy, Barkstall Elementary, and Stratton Academy of the Arts. All sessions are set to begin at 6 p.m., offering ample opportunity for families and other stakeholders to participate and share their views.

The district encourages anyone with an interest in the future of local education to attend one of the forums. For more information, visit the Unit 4 School District’s website.
