Diana Pinkston, the beloved spouse of the late Bob Pinkston, peacefully passed away on May 27, 2024.
She was a dedicated wife, caring mother, adored grandmother (Wawa), a reliable sister, and a close friend to many. Diana’s life was a reflection of love, empathy, and dedication.
As a nurse, she committed herself to looking after others, leaving a lasting impact on those she cared for and worked with. Her nurturing personality extended beyond her profession as she wholeheartedly loved her family, finding immense happiness in caring for them endlessly.
Diana and Bob had a special bond that transcended time, and even though he passed away in 2012, their love continues to inspire everyone who knew them. She cherished every moment spent with her family, whether exploring new places or simply creating precious memories together that will always be cherished.
Apart from her husband Bob, Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Betty J. Falk, her father Maj. Warren P. Falk, and her brother, Dennis J. Falk. Diana is survived by her son Troy (Rachel) Pinkston of Mahomet, and her beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Larry (Evelyn) Falk in Xenia, OH, her sister, Lynn (Michael) Armstrong in Urbana, IL, and her sister-in-law Jacki Buckingham in Champaign, IL.
In her passing, Diana leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed but warmly remembered for her unwavering love and the profound impact she had on those around her.
The family will conduct a private ceremony to honor Diana’s life and legacy. Diana will be laid to rest beside her husband, Bob, in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Instead of flowers, contributions can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation (parkinson.org). Online condolences can be shared at here.
