SAINT JOSEPH, IL (Chambana Today) — This morning, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Champaign County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the intersection of East Warren and Stout Streets in St. Joseph for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
Crash investigation showed that a pickup truck being driven by a 40-year-old male from St. Joseph was turning north onto Stout Street from Warren Street and struck a pedestrian, a 52-year-old female from St. Joseph. She was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
