CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — No. 11 Illinois closed out its home schedule in dominant fashion Tuesday night, defeating Oregon 80-54 at State Farm Center.

Illinois (23-7, 14-5 Big Ten) used a pair of big runs to pull away from the Ducks. The Illini went on a 21-0 surge over 6:05 in the first half, shooting 8-of-11 during that stretch while holding Oregon to 11 straight misses. In the second half, a 15-0 burst over 2:53 — including seven straight points from Andrej Stojakovic — put the game out of reach.

Stojakovic led all scorers with 21 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. It marked his seventh 20-point game of the year and his 15th time scoring in double figures for the Illini.

David Mirkovic added 19 points and seven rebounds, recording his 23rd double-digit scoring effort of the season. Keaton Wagler finished with 11 points, six rebounds and a team-high five assists. Wagler has now scored at least 10 points in 22 consecutive games and leads the team with 27 double-digit performances this season.

Zvonimir Ivisic contributed eight points, five rebounds and two blocks. His 66 blocks this season rank third in program history, seven shy of Nnanna Egwu’s 73 in 2014. Tomislav Ivisic added eight rebounds and a season-high two steals.

Illinois dominated on the glass, outrebounding Oregon 48-36, including a 14-9 edge in offensive rebounds. The Illini are now 22-4 when winning the rebounding battle and rank second in the Big Ten in rebound margin at +10.2 per game.

The bench provided a major boost, scoring 40 points compared to Oregon’s 14. Illinois also knocked down 10 or more 3-pointers for the 22nd time this season.

All 12 players saw action in the home finale, which drew the 11th sellout crowd of the season at 15,544.

With the win, Illinois secured its best Big Ten record since the 2021-22 season and now has 95 conference victories since 2019-20 — the most in the league during that span.
