CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — The City of Champaign will be holding a Downtown Stakeholders Meeting next week to share information and answer stakeholder questions as the city prepares to embark on another year in Downtown Champaign.

The meeting will be held at The Venue CU at 51 East Main Street on Thursday, April 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The day will start with coffee, pastries, and conversations for the first 20 minutes, followed by welcome messages from Mayor Deb Feinen, City Manager Joan Walls, updates from city staff on major projects, the City Center Team, summer events, business grant opportunities, police updates, and the Co-Responder Team. The day will end with an opportunity for stakeholders to ask the city questions.
