CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Good Shephard Lutheran Church, (GSLC) will be hosting a trunk sale this Saturday, August 10 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in their parking lot. The sale has designated proceeds to support C-U at Home, a Champaign-based agency that helps guide its clients from homelessness to independent living.
Items for sale will include furniture, books, dishes, LEGO sets, lamps, women’s clothes, a car-top bike rack, walking staffs, costume jewelry, crafting supplies, household items, gardening tools, music and more. Cash is the only accepted form of payment.
GSLC members and their friends are invited to bring their stuff and set up shop in the front parking lot. located at the corner of Prospect Ave. and Devonshire Dr. GSLC and CU at Home will handle the advertising, although you’re welcome to promote it through your social media. If you’re interested in selling your items, please note that at least 50% of your total sales must be donated to C-U at Home.
