CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) — The Big Ten Conference has released the conference schedules for all 18 schools for the 2026–27 men’s basketball season. Each school will play a 20-game conference slate, continuing the format used for the past eight seasons. Teams will face three schools both home and away, while playing the remaining 14 opponents once, split evenly between home and away games. Exact game dates, times, and television information will be announced at a later date.
Illinois schedule highlights include:
- Home games: Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, UCLA, USC
- Away games: Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Rutgers, Washington
- Home/away matchups: Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin
