CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Atomic Wings is opening in the heart of the campus on Saturday, August 31. This will be the franchise’s first location in downstate Illinois.
Kick-off events begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the restaurant, which is located at 622 E. Green St. in Champaign. Local franchisee Kavita Venkatesh said the event will include giveaways.
The local franchise launched with a soft opening last week. Venkatesh said this gave them a chance to work through any issues.
