CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – The fighting Illini softball team released their 2024-25 schedule Friday morning. The team will play eight games at Eichelberger Field before wrapping up their home schedule with the Orange and Blue World Series.
The Illini Fall Classic kicks off on September 21 when the Illini host Danville College and Greenville College. Lakeland College is their next visiting opponent on September 26.
The Orange and Blue Bash continues on September 28, with Illinois Wesleyan and McKendree against the Illinois. The Eichelberger Games will follow on October 5, with Illinois hosting Kankakee and Spoon River.
The annual alumni game takes place on October 6, with the Orange and Blue World Series following on October 9-11. The final fall game sees Illinois traveling to Columbia, Missouri to play on October 12.
