CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Curtis Orchard is open for the season with all the great apple-and-pumpkin amenities the community has enjoyed for decades. Families can pick their own apples or choose from the already-picked variety in the country store. The Honeycrisps are here now, but don’t overlook the GingerGold, Zestar, and Jonathan apples, and soon they will feature Jonamac, Cortland, Fuji, Crimson Crisp and Ambrosia.

Stop by the bakery for local produce, fudge, homemade donuts, cider, preserves, gifts, toys, and candles made in Illinois. If your family doesn’t want to – or can’t – pick apples or pumpkins, the dedicated orchard staff has picked them for you, waiting at the opening of the pumpkin patch or inside the country store.

Families enjoy shopping in the country store for food, presents, canned goods – and pumpkins and apples!

Visit curtisorchard.com for a full list of everything to do, including the Munchkinland toddler area, the petting zoo, mini-golf course, Emerald City Rope Maze, giant slide, and giant corn maze. Let Curtis Orchard host your family event or child’s birthday party.

Last-but-not-least, you and your entire family can enjoy lunch at the Flying Monkey Cafe, open from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. every day. Check out the menu here: Flying Monkey Menu.
