Champaign, IL (Chambana Today) – Lacey Rains-Lowe and Jeff Marino were recently elected to continue serving as Director and Assistant Director of the Downstate Section of the Illinois Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA).
The Downstate Section coordinates APA activities for the entire State, excluding the Chicago Metro Counties. This includes continuing education opportunities for professional planners, networking and social events, and planning advocacy at the local and state level. Lacey and Jeff will continue to provide a critical planning resource to rural, small towns and mid-sized communities with unique challenges and opportunities.
