CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Illinois baseball announced their games for the 2025 Big Ten schedule. The 2025 schedule showcases 30-games for the first time ever (expanding from 24). Big Ten play begins on March 7 and runs through May 17. The Big Ten Tournament will be held at Charles Schwab Field Omaha.
The Fighting Illini kick off the season vs. Michigan from March 7-0 in Vero Beach, Fla. They next travel to Northwestern March 21-23, Michigan State, March 28-30, Maryland April 4-6, and Indiana April 11-13 to Illinois Field.
The Illini take on one of the newest members of the conference, Washington, April 18-20, before hosting Purdue April 25-27 at home. The Illini squad swept the Boilermakers on the road to secure their first conference title since 2015. Illinois then travels to play Rutgers May 2-4) then it’s back home for UCLA May 9-11. They close the regular season in Columbus, against Ohio State, May 15-17.
