CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today)- Illini Media Group and the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana are planning for the Holiday Market and 29th Annual Festival of Trees. These events will take place on Saturday, December 7th, at the iHotel and Conference Center in Champaign at 1900 s. 1st St. in Champaign, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This holiday extravaganza will kick off the Christmas season with an impressive display of Christmas trees, festive wreaths, and arts and crafts. This yearly event is designed to bring the community together to celebrate the holiday season with a unique shopping experience and the opportunity to win beautiful holiday decorations. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase unique gifts, crafts, and holiday essentials for every household.

Some of the key highlights of the day:

  • Holiday Market: Shop from over 50 local vendors showcasing handmade crafts, artisanal goods, gourmet food items, and unique holiday gifts.
  • Festival of Trees: Marvel at beautifully decorated trees and wreaths, each uniquely adorned by local businesses, organizations, and community groups. These trees and wreaths will be available for attendees to win via purchase of raffle tickets and silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Junior League of Champaign-Urbana’s community projects.
  • Kids’ Corner: Enjoy holiday-themed activities and crafts for children,
  • Photos With Santa: The big guy will be here! Perfect time to get your family holiday photo.
  • Entertainment: Experience live music and performances by local choirs creating a festive atmosphere throughout the day.
